The location was epic, perched on a hill with insane views and just a hop, skip, and jump away from the park entrance. We felt like true explorers surrounded by the Namibian bush, and the thrill of hearing wild animals at night was a dream come true. Waking up to giraffes outside our window was mind-blowing! The atmosphere was so cool with separate chalets and plenty of space between them.
If there was one thing we'd want more of, it would be some fun nightlife activities for us young party animals. After a day of hiking and wildlife spotting, it would have been a blast to have a DJ or karaoke night to let loose and make memories with our friends.

I absolutely loved the cozy, rustic decor of the lodge. The brick columns, white washed walls, and high ceilings provided a warm and inviting ambiance that made me feel right at home. The small private verandas overlooking the bush were perfect for enjoying a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel's general areas. Everything was conveniently located and easy to navigate, making my stay comfortable and stress-free.
I would have preferred if the children working there had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests. Just a little more assistance and thoughtfulness towards us older visitors would have made for an even better vacation experience.

The rooms at Gondwana Etosha Safari Lodge are simply amazing! They offer breathtaking views of the African bush savannah, which made me feel like I was in the heart of nature. The small veranda was a lovely touch, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee while taking in the scenic beauty. Plus, having tea-and-coffee making facilities and a safe in the room was so convenient for a budget traveler like me.
I must admit, while I loved everything about the rooms, the one thing that I liked less was the air conditioning. It was a bit too chilly for my liking, but I understand that others might appreciate it, especially during the hot African summers.

As a senior woman, I found Gondwana Etosha Safari Lodge to be a charming retreat in the wilderness. The rustic yet elegant decor of the main building and cabins brought a sense of tranquility and coziness. The high ceilings and wide verandas provided a comfortable space to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding bush. I also appreciate the hotel's accessibility for senior people, with well-maintained paths and easy access to the main facilities.
The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is better support from the staff. Sometimes, the children working there seemed a bit overwhelmed and could benefit from more training in providing attentive and prompt service to guests.

We had an amazing stay at Gondwana! The value for money was great, and our room was comfortable and well-equipped. The location just outside of the park was perfect, and the staff treated us wonderfully.
The menu for breakfast could have been improved by reducing the waiting time for eggs.

The rooms at Gondwana Etosha Safari Lodge are simply amazing. They have this small veranda where you can sit and take in the breathtaking views of the African bush savannah. The tea-and-coffee making facilities are super convenient, and I felt so safe with the in room safe. The mosquito nets and air conditioning in the cottage style chalets made my stay even more comfortable. Plus, having a laptop-friendly workspace was a big bonus for someone like me who needs to catch up on emails.
The only thing I didn't love about the rooms was the shower in the en suite bathroom. It was a bit small for my liking, but hey, that's just my personal preference.
